Q&A: NRS Rhinelander Vinyl Floor Replacement

1. Q: The bid documents indicate that it is about 2400 SF of flooring but the bid worksheet calls for 250 boxes of flooring. Most vinyl flooring is between 30-45 SF so 250 boxes would be 7,500 - 11,250. Can we assume that the 2400 SF is correct and just make sure that the total bid amount is right, or should we be bidding it with the assumption that we will need 250 boxes of flooring, regardless of how many SF that is?

A: Answer: Ignore all references to number of boxes regarding quantities. Use the approximate quantity of 2400SF, and all bidders are to field verify all measurements.
