About this file

This is an Amendment to Solicitation 12444126Q0022 for Office and Recreation Facilities Janitorial Services at Sumter National Forest in South Carolina, issued by USDA Forest Service CSA East 3 on April 20, 2026. Amendment 0002, effective April 28, 2026, announces an in-person site visit scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 10:00 Eastern Time at 112 Andrew Pickens Circle, Mountain Rest, SC 29664. Prospective vendors are encouraged to attend to observe the project areas prior to submitting quotes. The site visit is optional and does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor will the Government reimburse any costs incurred in attending. Failure to inspect the site does not constitute grounds for claims after contract award.

Questions may be submitted before or during the site visit, with all questions and Government responses posted publicly to SAM.gov. Interested offerors must RSVP to Contract Specialist Julia Boxley at ioulia.boxley@usda.gov no later than Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM Eastern Time. The Government will not answer questions outside the formal site visit process, and the public should not visit the Ranger District Office building on other dates. Detailed directions via SC-28 from Walhalla are provided, with the Andrew Pickens Ranger District Office identifiable by a large roadside sign reading "Stumphouse Ranger Station, Sumter National Forest." Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to offer submission using one of three specified methods.
