About this file

This document is a Schedule of Items (SOI) for the GAOA Sula Housing Water System Improvements project in Ravalli County, Montana, issued by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service. The solicitation (1240LU25R0016) covers comprehensive water system infrastructure upgrades at the Sula Ranger Station, including construction surveying, site preparation, demolition of an existing pump house, and installation of new water system components.

The project scope involves multiple key construction elements: building a new wood-framed pump house, installing 1,100 linear feet of 2" HDPE water line, rehabilitating an existing water supply well, implementing electrical controls, and performing site restoration. The solicitation includes 21 distinct pay items with estimated quantities and unit pricing, ranging from excavation and embankment to valve installations and surface restoration. A site visit is scheduled for July 9th at the Sula Ranger Station, with questions due by July 15th, 2025. The project appears to be funded under the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) and focuses on critical infrastructure improvements for the Bitterroot National Forest housing and district water system.
