About this file
This document appears to be a detailed painting specification for multiple buildings located in the Stevensville and Darby areas, dated December 15, 2025. The specifications cover 9 different structures including a bunkhouse, offices, ranger stations, a visitor center, shops, warehouses, and a residence, with precise painting instructions for each building. Common requirements across most sites include painting cement fiberboard siding, metal handrails, and painted concrete surfaces, while explicitly excluding work on gutters, downspouts, and certain structural elements.
Unique specifications vary by site, with some notable details including: the Darby Visitor Center is a historic building requiring brush application and lead-based product considerations; the West Fork Residence requires sanding of silicone caulk and oil-based priming; and the Darby Ranger Station Barn involves extensive preparation with over 50 woodpecker holes to be filled, no pressure washing, and careful sanding to maintain the wood's profile. Most buildings feature vinyl windows, and many had previous painting or trim work completed in 2010. The specifications provide comprehensive, site-specific guidance for a systematic repainting project across multiple government-owned facilities.
