1. Does the facility have access to a loading dock, forklift, and 18-wheeler access?

Answer: Yes

2. When it comes to technical acceptability of the services offered to meet the Government’s need, what would you need from me as an offeror?

Answer: A submission of a complete quote/all other requirements listed on the RFQ from a contractor will give the Government positive acknowledgement that the contractor can perform the work being requested. The other items that will be considered for the evaluation will be price and past performance.

3. How is the waste processed?

Answer: The chemicals are used to clean corrosion products off of metal coupons. The waste solutions are collected in liquid waste containers. The quote should include the costs of these containers as part of the service.

4. Is it used or unused?

Answer: Used.

5. I read the description on SAM.gov but they wanted more information in regards to if the waste will have sediment in it such as metal, solids etc..

Answer: There may be small amounts of sediment that collects during the corrosion cleaning that is collected and will require disposal, but not in large quantities. Likely less than 1% solid (w/w).

6. Regarding Solicitation #12318723Q0294 for Hazardous Waste Pickup, is there a Safety Data Sheet for the 3 chemicals?

Answer: The chromium trioxide is a solid that is mixed at a dilution. For the Safety Data Sheets see attachments: MSDS-0264E, MSDS-0326C, and MSDS-0163A.
