Vendors must provide on-site fitting services, maintain a retail storefront in Broward County with standard business hours (Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), and operate a mobile unit available upon request or on a fixed schedule to assist employees with selection, sizing, and purchasing at BCT facilities. The contract may result in multiple awards, with the County reserving the right to select vendors best serving its interests. Vendors must place orders on an as-needed basis with no minimum quantity restrictions, delivering within thirty calendar days of order placement to designated County facilities. The County issues $150 annual vouchers per eligible employee (valid for six months) to cover one pair of safety boots per twelve-month period; employees may purchase additional footwear or higher-priced options at the vendor's fixed percentage discount by paying the difference directly. Vendors must provide monthly and annual sales reports detailing employee purchases, model numbers, ASTM categories, sizes, pricing, and discount information. The vendor assumes all delivery costs on a freight-prepaid, F.O.B. Destination basis and must provide pre-paid return labels with all shipments. Warranty obligations include replacement of defective items within two weeks of notification, with replacements available for local pickup. The vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA requirements and pass all manufacturer rebates and promotions to the County. No home deliveries are permitted, and all footwear must be tax-exempt at the point of purchase when covered by the County's authorized voucher.
