About this file
This document is a Scope of Services (SOS) and Scope of Work (SOW) for Dayton Public Schools (DPS), focusing on a comprehensive consulting engagement to analyze and develop a solicitation for a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The consultant will be responsible for conducting a detailed business analysis of current processes, documenting workflows, identifying stakeholders, and performing a high-level gap analysis. The primary objectives include developing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a new ERP system that will replace and improve upon the district's existing systems, including PowerSchool BPlus and PowerSchool ESchool, which currently handle financial management, human resources, payroll, student information, and various administrative functions.
The project requires the consultant to gather requirements from key stakeholders across departments, develop a System Requirements Document (SRD) with functional and non-functional specifications, establish evaluation criteria for potential ERP consultants, and support the selection process. The consultant will need to address system integration, compliance with government sector regulations, and future scalability. The document outlines specific deliverables, including process documentation, a comprehensive requirements document, draft solicitation materials, evaluation criteria, and a solicitation timeline. The consultant is expected to provide detailed information about their capabilities, experience, proposed approach, timeline estimates, technical specifications, and pricing, with an understanding that some work may require in-person activities and that all proposals are subject to public information requests.
