About this file
This document is Addendum #5 for a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the City of Albuquerque's Department of Finance and Administrative Services Purchasing Division for the Crime Lab LED Lighting and Controls Upgrade Energy Efficiency Project, solicitation number RFB-2025-623-GSD-KH. The project involves upgrading lighting systems, with a contract term of twenty (20) weeks from the date of award, with an option to extend up to a total of thirty (30) weeks. The bid deadline is set for July 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time, and all work must be performed during normal business hours of 8:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. (MST), excluding overtime and holidays.
The addendum provides clarifications on the project scope, including that ESMD will provide the complete lighting package with total fixture count, all non-LED wall packs will be replaced with LED wall packs, and all exit lights are included except existing LED exit signs. Bidders are advised that existing lighting fixtures have seismic wires and should include an allowance for potential installations. The document emphasizes that bidders must acknowledge receipt of the addendum in the City's eProcurement system, with failure to do so potentially resulting in a non-responsive bid submission.
