About this file
This is an Electronic Signature Implementation Agreement between the County of Bergen, New Jersey and Bonfire e-procurement solution that establishes the legal framework for vendors to conduct business electronically with Bergen County and its local units. The agreement authorizes the use of electronic forms, electronic filing, and electronic signatures in accordance with the E-Sign Act of 2000 and New Jersey's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). Vendors must complete this form with an authorized individual's signature to create a valid electronic signature that will serve as their official signature for submitting bids, requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and other offers to participating local units within Bergen County. The electronic signature remains valid for one year from the date of execution, after which vendors must renew their authorization.
The agreement requires vendors to provide specific identifying information including the authorized individual's name, title, phone number, email address, and vendor company name. The signature affixed to the form constitutes an affirmation that the signatory is authorized to conduct business on behalf of the vendor. Once executed, vendors may utilize their single vendor profile across all local units participating in the Bonfire e-procurement platform within Bergen County, streamlining the bidding process and eliminating the need for separate vendor registrations with individual municipalities.
