About this file

This is a redacted proposal agreement document related to the Kansas Turnpike Authority's request for qualified contractors to perform lagoon desludging services at the Towanda Service Area facility located at mile marker 65 on the Kansas Turnpike. The project involves the removal of accumulated sludge from lagoon cell #1 of the existing three-cell controlled discharge wastewater treatment facility and the subsequent land application of the liquid sewage sludge. The Kansas Turnpike Authority seeks a well-managed, financially stable contractor with demonstrated technical abilities in wastewater treatment and strong customer service capabilities. The contract will become effective upon final execution by both parties and satisfaction of the KTA Contractual Provisions Form No. 236 and all applicable legal requirements.

The proposal agreement document outlines the contractual framework governing the engagement between the Kansas Turnpike Authority and the selected contractor. The agreement establishes the terms and conditions under which the contractor will perform the desludging and land application services, including performance standards, payment procedures, insurance requirements, and compliance obligations. As a redacted document, specific pricing terms, payment schedules, insurance amounts, and other confidential financial details have been removed; however, the agreement serves as the binding instrument that will govern the project duration and establish the contractor's responsibilities for completing the lagoon desludging work in accordance with applicable environmental and regulatory standards.
