About this file
This is a Minimum Insurance Requirements document for Broward County's Water and Wastewater Services division outlining mandatory coverage for the FEMA Compliant Fabricate and Refurbish Water and Wastewater Control Panels project. The contract is an open-end agreement for fabrication and refurbishment services of control panels that may be utilized by Water and Wastewater Services and other Broward County agencies as needed. The solicitation requires vendors to comply with County and State licensing requirements, FEMA requirements, Florida Department of Transportation certification, and bonding requirements. Vendors must submit responses electronically through BPRO by the specified closing date and time, with the County providing a designated period for vendors to submit questions and seek clarification on solicitation requirements.
The insurance requirements establish specific minimum coverage limits including General Liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, Auto Liability of $500,000 combined bodily injury and property damage, Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, and Employer's Liability of $500,000 per accident. Broward County must be named as an additional insured with primary coverage, waiver of subrogation, and no contribution required from the County. An Installation Floater with all-risk completed value coverage is required if Builder's Risk or Property insurance is not carried, with maximum deductibles not exceeding five percent of completed value for wind and flood coverage. For claims-made policies, evidence of insurance must be maintained for a minimum of three years following contract completion.
