About this file

This is a cooperative pricing extension document for the Stafford Township Cooperative Pricing System (ID#33-OCCPS) related to a rock salt furnishing and delivery contract in New Jersey. The document establishes the terms under which a selected vendor may extend pricing to other agencies participating in the Stafford Township Cooperative Pricing System. Vendors are required to indicate their willingness to provide bid items to co-op member agencies under identical terms as specified in the master contract awarded to the lead agency, including no substitution or deviation from specifications, size, features, quality, price, or availability. Orders from participating agencies will be placed directly through separate contracts subject to the master contract terms, with no additional service or delivery charges permitted beyond those outlined in the specifications.

The pricing extension mechanism includes a limitation that orders from other agencies cannot cause the aggregate cost for that category to exceed twenty percent over the estimated cost based on the bid price of the total estimated quantity specified for that category. Vendors may decline to extend prices to cooperative members without adversely affecting their bid consideration for the lead agency's needs; however, the township reserves the right to make dual awards that include alternative vendors willing to extend cooperative pricing to members for the full contract duration. The document indicates that both checkbox options remain unchecked, suggesting this is a template or example document requiring vendor selection during the bidding process.

The Vendor is further: (CHECK ONE BOX ONLY)

Willing to provide the items herein bid upon to other agencies in the Stafford Township

Cooperative Pricing System, ID#33-OCCPS, the Stafford Township Cooperative Pricing System, without substitution or deviation from specifications, size, features, quality, price or availability as herein set forth. It is understood that orders will be placed directly by the other participating agencies by separate contract, subject to the overall terms of the master contract to be awarded by the Township of Stafford, that no additional service or delivery charges will be levied except as permitted by these specifications, and that orders shall not be accepted from said other agencies which cause the aggregate cost for that category (all other agency purchases) to be exceeded by twenty percent over the cost (based on the bid price) of the total estimated quantity specified herein for that category.

Not willing to extend prices to other agencies as described above. It is understood that this will not adversely affect consideration of this bid with respect to the needs of the lead agency.

*In keeping with Stafford Township’s commitment to providing cooperative pricing contracts for its membership, refusal to extend pricing to the co-op may result in a dual award to include an alternative vendor willing to extend pricing to the cooperative members for the duration of the contract.
