About this file

This document is a detailed technical specification for surveying and drawing deliverables for a construction project at Mountain Home Air Force Base (MHAFB). The specification outlines comprehensive requirements for topographic and record drawings, including precise surveying standards, coordinate systems, and digital file submission protocols. Key technical requirements include:

Surveying must integrate with the base's survey control network, using Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinates in Zone 11 North, with the World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS84) datum. The survey must document extensive infrastructure details including utilities (electric, water, gas, sewage), airfield features, buildings, and terrain elevations, with strict positional accuracy tolerances ranging from 0.05' to 1.00' depending on the feature type. Digital deliverables must be submitted in multiple formats (AutoCAD, ESRI Shapefiles, Geodatabase), following specific naming conventions and layering standards, with comprehensive documentation to ensure compatibility with the base's Geographic Information System (GIS).
