The document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) from the Cherokee County School District (CCSD) for athletic apparel and uniforms (RFP AAU-2026), covering six high schools participating in Georgia High School Association (GHSA) sports. The RFP seeks proposals for a 36-month contract from December 1, 2025, through November 30, 2028, with potential extension options. Proposers are required to submit digital proposals through the Euna Procurement Portal by October 9, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., with mandatory product samples due by October 16, 2025. The district requires uniform and apparel solutions for 13 different sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, and others, with an emphasis on district-wide pricing strategies.
The RFP offers two proposal options: Option 1 for brands and Option 2 for dealers, both aimed at achieving district-wide discounts and standardized pricing across schools. The district's primary objectives include reducing out-of-pocket costs for students and families, leveraging combined purchasing power, and maintaining school autonomy in brand selection. Proposers will be evaluated on a 100-point scoring system, with 30 points each for price and quality, 30 points for services, and 10 points for qualifications/experiences/references. The RFP emphasizes flexible purchasing, transparent pricing, rebate structures, and the ability to support all six schools with consistent processes and service levels, while allowing schools to retain the option to purchase from preferred vendors.

The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to explore opportunities to reduce out-of-pocket costs for students and families across all six CCSD high schools while maintaining school identity, brand choice, and purchasing autonomy. Currently, each school operates under separate vendor agreements, resulting in varied pricing structures, rebate formulas, and discount levels for similar products.
RFP Goals
• Leverage the combined purchasing power of all six schools to achieve better pricing, particularly on custom items (which make up the majority of orders).
• Standardize pricing and rebate structures to ensure fair access across schools.
• Maintain flexibility for coaches and staff to choose preferred brands, local vendors, and carve-outs for specific programs (e.g., cheer, band, spirit wear).
• Ensure no additional administrative burden, cost, or changes to existing ordering processes and timelines.
• Protect existing relationships with local vendors who provide decoration and customization services.
