About this file
This is Amendment No. 1 to Request for Proposals SBSRD-D-26-Q-0015 issued by Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District in Utah for the design, fabrication, and build-out of a mobile interpretive trailer. The amendment modifies specifications for a 2025 Interstate LoadRunner trailer with corrected dimensions, including an interior height of 7.08 feet (previously stated as approximately 8 feet), exterior dimensions of 24.67 feet long by 8.5 feet wide by 9.08 feet high, and a payload capacity of approximately 6,617 pounds. The scope of work includes installing two roof-mounted ventilation fans, integrating the District-owned exterior awning, and designing the interior to accommodate public use with consideration for durability, maintenance, and accessibility within the trailer's physical constraints. Firms must acknowledge this amendment in their proposals, or the submission may be found non-responsive. Questions are due by Tuesday, September 29th, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. MST, and proposals must be submitted by Tuesday, October 6th, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. MST to Contracting@basinrecreationutah.gov as two separate PDF files (Volume I for Technical Proposal and Volume II for Pricing Proposal).
The total project budget cannot exceed $75,000 and must include design, fabrication, transportation, fan installation, awning installation, and complete build-out. The District will provide the trailer platform and portable power supply system. Interior components must withstand road vibration and repeated public use, while exterior materials and finishes must endure high-elevation sun exposure, significant temperature fluctuations, snow, moisture, dust, and travel wear. The amendment emphasizes that firms should design to the corrected specifications with no requirements added or removed beyond the corrected trailer specifications, and all other terms and conditions of the original RFP remain unchanged.
