About this file

This is a bid schedule form for the City of South Jordan, Utah, related to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for asphalt overlay work in the McMullin Subdivision. The project involves milling and overlaying existing pavement according to APWA standards, including a 1-1/2" edge mill and 2" HMA overlay using PG 58-28 (3/8" APWA SuperPave material), along with ancillary work to lower and raise sewer, storm, water, and irrigation/drainage manhole lids and water valves to grade. The scope also includes mobilization, traffic control, site preparation, low-density polyethylene (LDP) and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) implementation, and material testing. The work area encompasses approximately 11,795 square feet of overlay surface with 50 feet of double yellow solid line pavement markings. The City anticipates issuing a Notice to Proceed on approximately April 20, 2026, with all work required to be substantially complete within 45 days of that notice. All bids must be submitted electronically through the Bonfire procurement website (https://utah.bonfirehub.com/) before the scheduled closing date and time, with no hardcopy submissions accepted. Questions regarding bid submission must be directed to the Bonfire support team at support.bonfire@eunasolutions.com, and vendors must register with the Bonfire system prior to submitting proposals.

The bid schedule requires contractors to provide lump-sum pricing for mobilization and traffic control, site preparation with LDP and SWPPP, material testing, and edge milling, as well as square-foot unit pricing for the HMA overlay and linear-foot pricing for pavement markings. Pricing for lowering and raising manhole and valve structures should be provided on a per-unit basis. The City of South Jordan reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. No set-asides, incumbent contractor information, or specific funding amounts are disclosed in the bid schedule document. All vendors must comply with State of Utah procurement requirements and the City does not provide bidder lists or planholders lists. Registration with the Bonfire system and all associated notifications and electronic responses are provided at no cost to vendors under the State of Utah's contract with the platform.
