This is a Scope of Work document prepared by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for the replacement of vault toilet roofs at White Pines and Castle Rock parks. The project scope includes replacing existing roofs on vault toilet structures at both park locations to address deterioration and extend facility lifespan. The document outlines technical specifications for roof replacement materials, installation standards, and quality assurance requirements. Site visits are available and encouraged for interested bidders to assess current conditions and gather measurements for accurate bidding. The work is anticipated to be completed within a specified timeframe following contract award, with detailed scheduling coordinated between the DNR and the selected contractor.
The procurement is a small contract opportunity, as indicated in the document title, and pricing should be submitted based on the scope specifications and site conditions observed during the pre-bid site visit. The project is funded through DNR operating or capital improvement budgets. Specific pricing terms, payment schedules, and any small business or minority-owned business set-asides will be detailed in the formal bid documents and contract terms.
