About this file
This is a Bid Notice for RFQ 26-020V issued by Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District in Texas, seeking qualification-based proposals for architectural services. The District is soliciting responses for two options: Option 1 comprises architectural design services for the Renovation Project at Clemens High School and Lehnhoff Stadium, and Option 2 establishes an IDIQ pre-qualified Architect Pool for construction, replacement, repair, renovation, and rehabilitation projects as authorized under Texas Government Code Chapter 2254, Subchapter A. Respondents may submit proposals for the Renovation Project only, the IDIQ Architect Pool only, or both scopes of work, provided that if responding to both, documentation must be submitted separately for each scope without combining references or project examples. The District intends to select one firm for the Renovation Project and up to five professional architect firms for the IDIQ Pre-Qualified Pool for use on an as-needed basis depending on project scope and specialty. Responses will be accepted through the Bonfire System until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026. The District will evaluate and accept or reject proposals based on the RFQ's criteria consistent with Education Code 44.031(b) and applicable state rules, with proposals remaining confidential until a recommendation is made to and accepted by the Board of Trustees.
The RFQ does not specify pricing terms, set-aside provisions, incumbent information, or contract term details in the notice provided. All questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing through the Bonfire System. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in its best interest and to waive any formalities or irregularities in the RFQ process. Terri Canal, Purchasing Manager, serves as the primary contact for the solicitation.
