About this file
This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration. The document establishes compliance requirements for entities entering into Federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements. The form requires certification that no Federally appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence officers or employees of any Federal agency, Members of Congress, or Congressional staff in connection with the award or modification of Federal funding instruments. The certification must be completed with the solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, and date before submission.
The certification represents a material representation of fact required under section 1352, U.S. Code, and is a prerequisite for transaction completion. If non-Federal funds have been paid for lobbying activities, the submitting party must complete and submit Standard Form-LLL, "Disclosure of Lobbying Activities." All sub awards at any tier, including subcontracts and sub grants, must include identical certification language, and all sub recipients must certify and disclose accordingly. Failure to file the required certification subjects the responsible party to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each violation.
