QUESTION

ANSWER

I was reviewing W9124G25XLYSTER and I noticed that the notice says Proposals are due on both September 16 and 19, 2025. Are you able to provide the correct date? Thank you in advance for your help.
Original SAM solicitation was posted 28 Aug 2025 at 3:20PM CDT. Amendment was completed on 29 Aug 2025 at 8:42AM CDT to fix the closing date on SAM Posting. The correct closing date is 19 Sep 2025 at 12:00PM CDT to allow vendors to have as much time as possible before the award needs to be in place.

We would like to know if this is a brand-new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.

If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?

There is an incumbent currently performing these services.

The contract number will not be provided by the Government but can be researched.

According to the documents attached to this opportunity, there appears to be a discrepancy regarding the page limit.

In one section, the limit is stated as 20 pages, while in the Instructions to Offerors attachment, the limit for the technical portion alone is listed as 40 pages. Could you please confirm which limit is correct?

The correct page limit is 40 pages. The solicitation was amended 04 Sep 2024 at 10:16AM CDT to correct Attachment 1_Combined Synopsis Solicitation page count error of 20 pages.

Please clarify the following statement in Section 1.1:

"Contractor shall perform monthly inspection..."

Is this in reference to section 4.1 "Contractor shall provide an on-site technician to complete monthly maintenance and system Updates and patches, as directed by LAHC IMD... one full 8-hour day per month?

Yes, both sections refer to the same thing. The once-a-month inspection is to ensure that the systems are working properly. It is also the time to update any documents such as panic button positions, corrections to placement on in the system, and nonurgent work orders. Tech will work with the LAHC IMD division to correct any issues.

Please confirm the following statements from section 4.1:

"Complete upgrade of the security access control system and badging monitoring system, Lenel compatible."

If the badging system or monitoring systems is due any upgrades, this will be conducted on the visits while working with the LAHC IMD personnel

Please confirm the following statements from section 4.1:

“Contractor shall provide LAHC up to 10 software licenses installed in system chosen by PTMS COR, either during installation or on later maintenance."

If we need any updates to the cameras, the contractor will be required to provide up to 10 software licenses per year

Please confirm the following statements from section 4.1:

“Contractors shall provide all fibers, connections, servers, and switches, and shall ensure that all network-related functions, connections, and installations are cleared by LAHC IMD personnel to ensure that all DHA IA regulatory policies are adhered to at all times."

If at any time during the contract period these items stop functioning properly as intended, these items will have to be furnished and replaced by the contractor.

Please confirm the following statements from section 4.1:

“Upgrade must include two stand-alone systems installed at guard monitoring area and main PTMS in processing location."

If the existing stand-alone units fail or do not meet mission requirements, the systems will have to be upgraded.

Please confirm the following statements from section 4.1:

“Updated PANIC button system software and hardware compatible with existing system. Replace existing equipment with equipment that can be installed in static locations, reduce number to no more than 100, and dispose of all old unusable buttons."

If the PANIC button system software and hardware need to be upgraded, it will be the responsibility of the contractor.

Please confirm the following statements from section 4.1:

"Install one push-button notification system in two locations for emergency code notification..."

These are emergency shut down buttons located in PTMS. Again, if there is a failure in functionality, the contractor will need to replace them.
