About this file
This document is Addendum 1 for RFP 020-DW-0125, issued by the Polk County Public Schools for Network Equipment E-Rate procurement. The addendum addresses vendor questions regarding a network equipment solicitation, specifically focusing on switch purchases for seven schools. The document clarifies that the district is seeking 7 switches total, not 7 switches per school, and provides guidance about potential equipment substitutions due to upcoming end-of-sale dates for certain network switch models. Vendors are directed to await the posting of Network Equipment List Bid Formv2 for comprehensive details.
The procurement is E-Rate funded and subject to funding approval, with specific restrictions noted such as redundant power supplies not being eligible for E-Rate funding. The solicitation involves network switching equipment, primarily HPE Aruba switches like the JL075A (3810M) model, with potential alternative models being considered due to upcoming end-of-sale dates. Vendors are instructed to reference ITB section J for bid bond requirements and are advised that the sample tabsheet provided is for guidance only. The addendum emphasizes that the final equipment specifications will be detailed in the soon-to-be-posted Network Equipment List Bid Formv2.
