About this file
This document is a Question & Answer (Q&A) for a competitive solicitation (00624) issued by the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services to establish multiple contracts for on-site uniformed security guard services across the state of Washington. The solicitation is open to eligible purchasers such as state agencies, political subdivisions, tribes, federal agencies, and public benefit nonprofits. The contract term will be approximately 2 years, with possible renewal options. Key details include the ability for small businesses and veteran-owned businesses to receive reserved awards, the total estimated value of the current contract (03818) being $57 million from 2019-2024, and vehicle requirements for security guards. Pricing and ordering information for the current contract is also provided.
