About this file
This document is a Pre-Bid Meeting Agenda for the ODOT Parkdale Maintenance Station New Wash Slab project, an Invitation to Bid (ITB) solicitation issued by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). The project involves making improvements to the vehicle wash facilities at the Parkdale Maintenance Station, including demolition, excavation, utility trenching, constructing a new concrete wash slab with catch basin, installing a pump system and water treatment system, and completing associated paving and drainage work. This is an Emerging Small Business (ESB) set-aside project, with the awarded ESB contractor required to perform at least 51% of the work. Bids are due by July 18, 2024 at 12:30 PM, and award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Substantial Completion is required within 3 months of the Notice to Proceed, with Final Completion within 4 months.
The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements, and bidders must submit the required bid documents, including a Bid Bond and First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure. An additive alternate is included to maximize the project scope within available funding. ODOT will not entertain change orders for increased material costs after contract award, and contractors are encouraged to stock materials onsite. Progress payments are limited to one per month, with BOLI certified payroll required with each payment request.
