INTRODUCTION The Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) Procurement Group (PG), in support of the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRC-SW) – North Island, intends to procure LM 2500 Engine Test Cells #19 & #20 which are used to perform depot-level functional and performance testing of General Electric LM 2500 Gas Generator Assemblies (GGA) and the Power Turbine Assemblies at FRC-SW. PROGRAM BACKGROUND FRC-SW is soliciting information for TEST EQUIPMENT: LM2500 - Test Cell contract holders on its ability to provide the Government’s requirement for “Section 3.0 - General Requirements” on the document: CIP# 60C1EL027SE in accordance with the Draft Statement of Work, Attachment 1. Site Visit: There will be a site visit to help vendors understand the requirement. The site visit will be on April 29th, 2021. Please reach out to the POCs below in order to attend the site visit. What specific technical skills does your company possess which ensures capability to perform the SOW tasks? It is requested that, in the response to the Sources Sought, the company explain its capability to accomplish the work specified under the draft SOW. If the company finds itself not capable to perform all parts of the SOW, please specify which portions of the SOW it is not capable of accomplishing. If the company will be teaming or utilizing subcontracts, please include information regarding which work the subcontractor will be responsible for and how the prime will determine the subcontractor is capable of accomplishing the work. The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a qualified contractor to perform stern tube bearing alignment surveys on the CGC PIKE, an 87' WPB Cutter, during a scheduled drydock availability at Base Ketchikan, Alaska. The solicitation requires a technical representative with optical or laser alignment capabilities to conduct precise shaft alignment measurements in accordance with specific USCG technical references. Contractors must provide all necessary equipment to record vertical and athwartship alignment positions, measure stern tube/seal flange and reduction gear centerline positions, and generate a final report with results and recommendations. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division seeks to award a firm fixed price contract to conduct 400 hours of diesel engine laboratory testing. The testing will evaluate the performance and durability of two 200hp diesel outboard engines provided as government furnished equipment. The purpose is to support in-water testing of diesel technology aboard explosive ordnance disposal craft. Quotes are due by November 23, 2022. The selected contractor must test engines through full load and part load power curves, emissions sampling, fuel system characterization, and optional disassembly of fuel injectors and pumps for characterization. Emissions sampling and data collection is required for the full 400 hours of testing.
