This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Request for Quote will be submitted through fedbizopps.gov on RFQ reference number 36C24221Q0566.
This is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08 /14JUL2020.
This solicitation is set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). It is the Government s intent to issue a firm fixed price, single award as a result of this solicitation. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333111, with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees.

QUOTE FORMAT AND EVALUATION CRITERIA
1. Quotes must list your DUNS number, CAGE code, and Federal TIN with Company name, POC, and phone number. If you need to obtain or renew a DUNS number or CAGE code, please visit www.sam.gov.
2. Offerors shall provide only one quote and shall be emailed to Myra.Green2@va.gov NLT 05/13/2021 at 4:00 PM EST. Non-compliance with this requirement will result in disqualification of quote.
3. Award shall be made to the quoter whose quotation provides the Lowest Price Technically acceptable and meets the governments needs best.
4. All vendors must be registered and complete all entries in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be considered for award. Potential vendors may register at the following web site: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
5. Vendors shall provide a minimum quote acceptance period of 90 days after RFQ closing for offers.
The offeror s initial quote should contain the offeror s best terms from a price standpoint. Offerors are cautioned to submit enough information and, in the format, specified in the quote instructions. Offerors may be contacted to resolve minor or clerical errors and the Contracting Officer reserves the right to award without further.

This RFI is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. This Market Research/Sources Sought Notice is for information on capability and availability of potential contractors to fabricate, assemble, and deliver (1) Caterpillar DP35N or approved equal forklifts to the Cordell Hull Powerplant located in Carthage, TN for the USACE Nashville District.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
The proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract.
North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this acquisition is 333924 Industrial Truck, Tractor, Trailer, and Stacker Machinery Manufacturing.
Small Business Size Standard in number of employees for this acquisition is 750.
DESCRIPTION:
The Contractor shall provide the brand name or equal equipment as specified herein. To be considered equal, alternate equipment proposed shall meet the same specifications included herein. The Contractor shall submit catalog cut documentation with their price quote. If an alternate is proposed, the Government shall make the comparison to verify that it is equal to the brand name and model number specified and that it can meet the specifications below. Information provided in the catalog cut documents shall be complete and of the level of detail to allow the Government to make the comparison. The Contractor shall not deliver equipment prior to the Government's approval.
These specifications require furnishing and delivering a complete and ready for operation, with the exception of fuel, one (1) new current model diesel powered Caterpillar DP35N or approved equal forklift with the following features and specifications. Forklift shall be delivered Cordell Hull Powerplant.
