About the company

The New Hampshire Alcohol And Drug Abuse Counselors Association (NHADACA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing addiction professions in New Hampshire. Through education and advocacy, NHADACA strives to enhance the knowledge and skills of addiction professionals, increase awareness of addiction issues in the state, and promote access to quality substance use disorder treatment.

NHADACA has been awarded a $1,200,000 Project Grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Congressional Directives program (CFDA 93.493). The CSP will provide clinical supervision, training resources, exam preparation support, and formal mentoring to a minimum of 50 individuals seeking licensure as Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADC) or Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (MLADC). Additionally, NHADACA has received several sub-awards from the New Hampshire Department of Health & Human Services and the New Hampshire Department of Justice Office of the Attorney General for training programs related to alcohol and other drug workforce development, as well as support for drug court initiatives and evidence-based assessments and treatments for drug court participants impacted by personal trauma.
