About Healthy Communities Coalition Of Lyon & Storey Counties
Healthy Communities Coalition of Lyon & Storey Counties (HCC) is a grassroots partnership that strives to promote and support sustainable, culturally inclusive prevention services in northern Nevada. HCC manages 14 grants from local, state and federal funders to improve health and quality of life in its rural service area.
HCC has received over $1.3 million in federal grant awards as a prime recipient from the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Agriculture to provide outreach, education, and health care access focused on issues like nutrition, chronic disease, mental health, and substance abuse prevention.
