About this opportunity

The procurement seeks a qualified supplier to provide in-person, hands-on training that meets or exceeds the specifications outlined in Attachment D-Mandatory Requirement Questions. Bidders must be registered in TEAM GEORGIA MARKETPLACE to view the complete RFQ and submit proposals electronically. The solicitation was initially posted on January 2, 2025, with the original due date of January 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm, following an extension after the posted questions and answers on January 13, 2025. Award will be made to the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder meeting the specified requirements. Prospective vendors can seek assistance with the registration process or system navigation by contacting the Help Desk at procurementhelp@doas.ga.gov or calling 404-657-6000.

The procurement does not explicitly mention specific set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. Based on the Notice of Intent to Award document, Wild West Outdoor Adventures was selected as the intended contractor, with an estimated contract value of $30,000. One competitor, Just Safety Training, was deemed non-responsive to the solicitation requirements. The contract is structured as an open agency contract, allowing flexibility in training delivery. Bidders must demonstrate the capability to provide comprehensive wilderness first aid and first responder training that meets the department's specific needs. Protests regarding the procurement can be submitted electronically to doas.protests@doas.ga.gov, following the supplier protest process outlined in the Georgia Procurement Manual updated in August 2020.
