About this opportunity

The State of Florida, through the Florida Army National Guard's Construction & Facility Management Office, is procuring mold remediation and restoration services for the Wauchula National Guard Facility in Hardee County. The project requires the furnishing of all labor, services, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision to perform mold abatement and remediation work in accordance with industry standards and applicable safety regulations. Contractors must have current certifications in mold abatement and remediation, and a non-mandatory pre-bid site visit was held on June 20, 2024. Sealed bids are due by July 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

The solicitation encourages participation from Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Veteran-Owned companies, though specific set-aside requirements are not provided. The estimated construction cost for the project is $200,000, and the contract is contingent upon the availability of funding and annual appropriation by the Florida Legislature. Pricing details and funding sources are not explicitly stated in the documentation, but the contract will include a performance bond and labor/material payment bond, or modified terms if bonds are not required.
