About this opportunity
The City of Moab is seeking sealed bids for the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Utility Vehicle Garage Electric and Heating Project, which involves constructing electrical and heating infrastructure within a prefabricated steel utility vehicle garage located in Grand County, Utah. The project requires a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the installation of gas-fired radiant heaters, ceiling fans, and electrical wiring. Specific deliverables include wiring outlets, heaters, fans, and garage doors, along with required gas connections for the heaters. The selected contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary building permits. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on October 27th at 11:00 AM MDT at the Moab Wastewater Treatment Plant, with sealed bids due by November 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM MDT through the Utah State Procurement Portal. The City of Moab Engineering Department will oversee the project, with Mark Jolissaint, P.E. serving as Project Engineer, Didar Charles as Project Manager, and Beachem Bosh as Construction Manager.
The procurement appears to be open to all qualified contractors, with no specific set-aside designations or restrictions mentioned in the available documentation. Bidders will be required to provide their name, contact information, and license number when submitting proposals. The City of Moab reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, either in whole or in part. While no specific budget range is explicitly stated, the project involves electrical and heating infrastructure for a utility vehicle garage, which suggests a moderate-scale construction project. All communication and updates regarding the bid will be posted on the https://utah.bonfirehub.com platform, and bidders are solely responsible for monitoring the site for any addenda or changes to the contract documents. Interested contractors should carefully review the full bid advertisement and be prepared to demonstrate their capability to complete the technical specifications of the electrical and heating installation project.
