About this opportunity
The State of New Jersey, specifically the Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), is procuring three distinct services related to offshore sediment sampling and analysis - vibracore sediment sample acquisition, vibracore processing, and offshore sediment sample grain size analysis. The intent is to award up to three Master Blanket Purchase Orders (Contracts) for these services. The estimated quantities for the initial round of work include 20-30 vibracores and 400-600 grain size analysis samples, with options for additional services at the discretion of the NJDEP. The work will be performed in the Atlantic Ocean, Delaware and/or Raritan Bay, and the Delaware and/or Hudson Rivers. Proposals are due on January 26, 2017, and the contract pricing will be firm fixed price, with invoicing and payment per completed service. Prospective bidders must demonstrate qualifications and relevant experience in sediment sampling, processing, and grain size analysis as detailed in the scope of work.
This is a Small Business Set-Aside procurement, with set-aside categories for Categories I, II, and III. The contract is subject to additional vendor/bidder requirements, including being registered with the N.J. Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services, Small Business Registration and M/WBE Certification Services Unit for set-aside contracts. The contract may also require performance security, bid security, payment security, and/or retainage. The contract term is not specified, but there is an option to extend, and the work will be funded by the State of New Jersey. No incumbent vendor or current contractor information is provided.
