NIGP 98945: Grain Sampling and Preparation Services

NIGP 98945 Grain Sampling and Preparation Services, an Item code, covers laboratory and field services that test grain quality, conduct moisture and composition analysis, and prepare samples for regulatory compliance and commodity trading. State and local governments procure these services primarily through agricultural departments, commodity commissions, grain inspection agencies, and food safety programs to verify grain standards, support producer settlements, and meet federal grading requirements. The work includes moisture testing, foreign material screening, protein and nutrient analysis, and documentation for sales and regulatory purposes.

The source provides no recent state or local contract opportunities under this code, making it difficult to characterize current issuing-body concentration, geographic activity, or representative solicitation patterns.
