UNSPSC 81151904: Aero magnetic geophysics

UNSPSC 81151904 Aero magnetic geophysics (Commodity) shows no meaningful recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The three opportunities posted in the source—an irrigation system upgrade, a brackish groundwater aquifer analysis, and open educational resource grant support services—fall outside the code's geophysical surveying and airborne magnetic survey framework and appear to represent tagging errors rather than representative work under the code.

The brackish groundwater opportunity from the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) RFP 58027RFP0003, posted July 6, 2026 with proposals due August 6, 2026, involves geophysical log documentation and GIS subsurface mapping across fourteen Central Texas counties, which shares methodological overlap with geophysical analysis but does not match the aeromagnetic-survey-specific scope of the commodity code. The absence of recent opportunities authentically aligned with airborne magnetic geophysics or ground-based aeromagnetic surveying suggests this code warrants a watch posture pending clearer procurement signals.
