About this opportunity
The Marketing and Development department of Utah's state government is seeking a printing contract for various educational program booklets through a solicitation posted on July 16, 2025, with proposals due by August 7, 2025. The procurement aims to establish a one-year contract for printing booklets that can potentially be renewed for up to five years. Historical data indicates the department requires multiple print runs annually, with quantities ranging from 3,000 to 6,500 units, featuring diverse page counts and paper types. The contract will specifically cover booklets designed to market continuing education programs, with vendors expected to demonstrate capabilities in handling variable print specifications and volumes. While specific evaluation criteria are not explicitly detailed in the available documentation, the solicitation suggests the state is seeking a versatile printing vendor capable of consistently meeting the department's evolving marketing collateral needs.
No specific set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent types were explicitly mentioned in the procurement documents. The contract does not appear to have explicit provisions for disadvantaged enterprise participation or specific vendor restrictions. The procurement does not reference incumbent vendors or outline precise budget ranges for the printing services. Based on the historical print volumes described (3,000 to 6,500 units per booklet), potential vendors can anticipate a moderate-scale printing requirement with potential for sustained engagement through the possible five-year renewal structure. The solicitation indicates the state is seeking a printing partner who can provide flexible, high-quality booklet production services for ongoing marketing materials related to continuing education programs. While exact financial parameters are not specified, the multi-year potential suggests an opportunity for a stable, long-term printing services contract with the Utah state government.
