About this opportunity

The Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MCDHH) is seeking organizations and individuals to provide specialized training services on an as-needed, on-demand basis through a pre-qualified vendor list. The training services will cover three key content areas: (1) Deaf Culture and the Deaf Experience, (2) topics and issues relevant to MCDHH's programs, and (3) trainings, seminars, and workshops delivered in American Sign Language (ASL). MCDHH requires the training to be conducted by culturally Deaf trainers or training teams, and the sessions must be delivered in ASL to ensure accessibility. The contract term will be up to 10 years, from the execution date through June 30, 2031, with no renewal options. Compensation will be through short-term rate or fee-for-service agreements for each engagement. MCDHH will monitor and evaluate the contractors' performance and reserves the right to terminate contracts if performance standards are not met.

This is a Small Procurement targeted to small businesses participating in the Commonwealth's Small Business Purchasing Program, but non-participating vendors may also submit responses if there is inadequate SBPP capacity. MCDHH is an Equal Opportunity employer and does not discriminate in its activities or operations. The agency is seeking a diverse pool of trainers or training teams that can provide the required services through an intersectional lens. The expected contract value or budget range is not specified in the provided documents.
