About this opportunity
The Nevada Department of Transportation, procured through the State of Nevada Division of Purchasing, is seeking competitive pricing for a one-year open-term contract for temporary impact attenuators under ITB 80DOT-S4016, with bids due October 27, 2026. All bids must be submitted through NevadaEPro. Qualifying vendors may receive a five percent price preference if a majority of goods are produced in Nevada, and local businesses owned and operated by veterans with service-connected disabilities may receive a five percent price preference for contracts valued between $50,000 and $500,000.
Vendors must provide pricing for MASH TL-3 compliant temporary impact attenuators that have been tested and accepted on NDOT's Qualified Product List, Specification 625.02.04 (revised December 11, 2025). Bids are restricted to specific manufacturers or products listed in the bid specifications and Section 625.02.04 of the 2014 Edition of the Nevada Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Vendors proposing products not on the QPL must arrange performance testing with NDOT; if testing cannot be completed before the bid opening, the product may be considered for future bids if approved by NDOT. Vendors must also provide discount percentages for replacement parts and items not specifically listed in specifications. Pricing must be quoted as Free on Board destination with freight prepaid. Equipment must be new only; no used, refurbished, demo, prototype, or gray market items are accepted.
The contract term runs from award through October 31, 2027, with annual renewal options at the State's discretion. No price increases are permitted during the contract term. The contract may be extended to other state agencies, cities, counties, or political subdivisions. Awards may be given to multiple vendors. Quantities are estimates only with no obligation to purchase definite amounts. All quotes must comply with OSHA standards and include descriptive data or printed specifications. Bidders must state any deviations from specifications on a separate sheet; absent such statement, the State will assume all requirements are met.
