About this opportunity

This procurement opportunity is for a single-source contract between the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Activu to provide comprehensive maintenance and support services for the video wall and associated audio-visual equipment at the Tampa Bay SunGuide Center. The contract will cover preventive maintenance and repairs to the Activu video wall software, hardware, and audio-visual equipment. FDOT has determined that Activu is the sole source capable of providing these services, as the video wall system utilizes proprietary Activu software that cannot be accessed or serviced by any other vendor. The intended contract value is $120,580. The justification for the single-source award is that Activu's expertise and intimate knowledge of the video wall system is necessary to minimize downtime and ensure the continued operation of this critical infrastructure. The contract period and specific deliverables are not provided in the documentation.

This procurement does not include any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. As this is a single-source award, there is no competitive bidding process, and Activu is identified as the incumbent vendor. The procurement documents do not provide any information on a budget range or the possibility of additional contract awards in the future.
