About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking a single-source vendor to provide complete maintenance services for the Activu video wall system and associated audio-visual equipment at the Tampa Bay SunGuide Center in Hillsborough County. The requested services include preventative maintenance and repairs for the video wall software, hardware, and audio-visual equipment. The contract term is two years, from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2026, with an estimated dollar amount of $120,580. FDOT has determined that the Activu software and system are proprietary and can only be serviced by Activu, the software owner, due to the need for comprehensive troubleshooting and maintenance of both the software and hardware components. No other vendors are able to access and troubleshoot the Activu software. The contract will hold a single vendor accountable for all system components and maintenance needs to minimize downtime.
As this is a single-source procurement, there are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The current incumbent vendor is Activu, the owner of the proprietary software. The successful vendor will be required to integrate with the existing Activu video wall system and technology infrastructure at the Tampa Bay SunGuide Center.
