About this opportunity

The Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) is seeking a professional company to provide service station fuel pump repair, inspection, and maintenance services across over 100 fueling sites throughout the state. The initial contract term is three years, with the state having the option to renew for up to two additional years. Vendors must bid on all three geographic regions (North, Central, and South) and the state may award up to three contracts, one in each region. Pricing shall be submitted as hourly labor rates for normal business hours, work outside normal hours and holidays, and mileage reimbursement, with parts billed at cost. Bids are due on August 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. CST. The total contract value is estimated.

While there is no Small Business Set-Aside goal, the contract is subject to the Minority Contractor Initiative and Veteran Small Business participation requirements. The current incumbent contractor is Stenstrom Petroleum, who was awarded a $1.2 million contract through the Invitation for Bid process as the lowest priced responsive and responsible bidder out of two respondents. The procurement does not list any specific technology or infrastructure integration requirements.
