About this opportunity

Alpine School District Department of Purchasing, conducting the procurement through Timpanogos School District, is requesting statements of qualifications from architectural firms to design and deliver related architectural services for a Support Services Office Remodel at 490 North State Street in Lindon, Utah, with qualifications due October 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. This is an RFSQ under Utah Procurement Code 63G-6a Part 15 for Design Professional Service Providers and Consultants, in which the highest-ranked vendor negotiates contract terms at fair and reasonable compensation rather than competing on price.

Architectural services shall include those outlined in AIA Document B101 and any additional services required for the project. Submittals are accepted electronically through Utah Public Procurement Place (UPPP). Vendors must not include pricing information with their qualifications submissions. All employees working at District sites must undergo and pay for background checks. Professional liability insurance with errors and omissions coverage is required at a minimum of $1,000,000 annual aggregate limit.

The District Evaluation Committee will rank vendors using weighted criteria: firm qualifications and experience (20 points), strength of proposed team and individual references (35 points), past performance and references including prior school district work (25 points), and design ability and experience with similarly-sized projects (20 points). The District reserves the right to contact references not listed in the RFSQ. If the highest-ranked vendor and District cannot agree on fair and reasonable compensation, contract requirements, or contract documents, the District may proceed to negotiate with the next highest-ranked vendor.

No site visit or bidder's conference is specified. Vendors may claim confidentiality protection for non-public financial statements, specific employee or customer information, and proprietary data under Utah law, but pricing may not be claimed as confidential and entire proposals cannot be designated as protected.
