About this opportunity
Bryan County, located in Georgia, is soliciting a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Debris Removal Services through a competitive procurement process. The RFQ seeks to identify and select a qualified firm capable of providing comprehensive debris removal services, with proposals being accepted until 2:00 pm on May 22, 2025. Interested vendors must submit their qualifications to Matt Montanye, Director of Public Works, either via email at mmontanye@bryancountyga.gov or by calling (912) 663-5237 to obtain the full RFQ document. The county will evaluate proposals based on the firm's qualifications, suitability, and ability to meet the commission's requirements. The selection process will be conducted by the Board of Commissioners, who retain the right to reject any proposal that does not demonstrate adequate qualifications or to reject all proposals and restart the procurement process.
While the RFQ does not specify specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor types, Bryan County is an Equal Opportunity Employer, suggesting an open and inclusive procurement approach. The solicitation explicitly states that the county is not committed to executing a contract or compensating vendors for proposal preparation costs. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the provided documentation. The county reserves significant discretion in the procurement process, including the ability to waive minor irregularities, reject proposals without explanation, and readvertise for new proposals at its sole discretion. Potential vendors should carefully review the full RFQ documentation and prepare comprehensive qualifications that demonstrate their capability to effectively perform debris removal services for the county.
