About this opportunity
The City of College Park, located in Fulton County, Georgia, is issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 1107-2024 for on-call maintenance services targeting City-owned facilities and properties. The procurement seeks experienced contractors to establish an annual contract for general repair and maintenance services delivered through task orders. Qualified proposers must demonstrate a minimum of five years of professional experience in maintenance and repair services. The RFP requires contractors to provide comprehensive maintenance solutions that ensure safe, functional, and well-maintained municipal spaces while reducing operational costs. Evaluation criteria will include contractor qualifications, past performance, experience, and proposed approach to facility maintenance. Key procurement dates include a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting, with final proposals due on December 6, 2024. The initial contract term is one year, with potential renewals for four additional one-year periods, allowing for long-term partnership and consistent maintenance support.
The solicitation does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged business enterprises. The City reserves the right to reject any proposals and potentially make multiple awards based on its assessment of the most advantageous submissions. While specific budget ranges are not detailed in the available documentation, the contract is structured as an on-call, task-order based arrangement, suggesting flexible spending potential. Proposers must comply with state requirements, including the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act, and submit pricing in a separately sealed envelope. The procurement approach indicates the City's intent to establish a responsive, flexible maintenance service that can address immediate and ongoing facility needs across municipal properties. Contractors will be expected to provide comprehensive services that support the City's goal of maintaining safe, functional environments for residents and employees.
