The contract term consists of three base years plus two optional two-year renewal periods for a total of seven years. The current contract expires March 31, 2027. Cost proposals must detail monthly rates per household for curbside garbage pickup and any additional service options, with all fees, charges, surcharges, and rate adjustment plans including CPI and fuel adjustments included.

Upon award, the successful contractor must furnish a Payment and Performance Bond of $25,000 and provide evidence of insurance within 15 working days: worker's compensation, bodily injury liability of $1 million per occurrence, property damage liability of $1 million per occurrence, and excess umbrella liability of $1 million.

Proposals must include one hard copy and one digital copy on a flash drive with both technical and cost sections. The City evaluates technical proposals before cost proposals.
