About this opportunity
The Region 7 Education Service Center (ESC) in Texas is issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) 07-04082024 Stop Violence to seek qualified individuals or firms to provide an anonymous incident reporting and management system. The system must comply with the Students, Teachers, and Officers Preventing (STOP) Violence Grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice. The ESC is seeking responses from providers that can offer a system with anonymous reporting capabilities, incident management features, 24/7 incident monitoring services, and social-emotional learning tools. The system must be offered to 101 education entities, covering over 160,000 students in the Region 7 service area. Proposals will be evaluated based on criteria including price, system functionality, references, company background, mental health assistance, violence reporting, and technical review. Responses are due by May 06, 2024 at 10:00 AM Central.
The contract is contingent upon the ESC receiving the STOP Violence Grant, and the selected contractor must comply with all federal requirements of the grant. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The ESC has not provided any information on incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor any details on existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The RFP does not specify an award value or budget range.
