About this opportunity
Paragraph 1:
Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) in Georgia has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Network Infrastructure services under RFP 011-24. CCPS is seeking proposals from qualified firms to replace its existing Cisco Catalyst 3850 Series Switches with new cloud-managed switches. The RFP outlines the required scope of services, which includes the provision of network infrastructure equipment and services. Minimum qualifications, submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and the terms of the resulting agreement are detailed. Responses are due by January 2, 2024 at 3:00 PM EST, and a non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on November 6, 2023. CCPS intends to make one award with an initial 1-year term that may be automatically renewed for two additional 1-year terms. CCPS will evaluate both technical and cost proposals, with the technical proposal weighted at 70% and the cost proposal weighted at 30%.
Paragraph 2:
The RFP requires bidders to complete SLBE (Small Local Business Enterprise) program documentation, as CCPS has established SLBE contracting goals of 30% for Construction and Construction Management Services, 20% for Professional Services, and 20% for Goods or Services. Certified SLBEs located and operating within Clayton County are granted a bid preference, and the lowest responsive and responsible bidder utilizing SLBE-Clayton subcontractors/suppliers within 5% of the overall lowest bid may have the opportunity to match the lower bid. The contract award will be contingent on the receipt of E-Rate Category Two funding. CCPS currently uses Cisco Prime Network Control System or Cisco Meraki Cloud Managed Solution for network management and supports Cisco Discovery Protocol, and the proposed solution should integrate seamlessly with the existing environment. No information is provided regarding the current incumbent vendors or the estimated award value.
