About this opportunity

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is soliciting proposals for fabrication and delivery of clay roof tiles for the Punderson State Park Lodge roof replacement, with material proposals due October 14, 2026 and construction scheduled to start in April 2027.

The scope is fabrication and delivery of 7" wide × 12" long × 5/8" thick shingle-style clay tiles in standard color and texture to match the existing 1925 English Tudor mansion roof and the 1965 mansard addition roof. Tiles must meet ASTM C1167 Grade 1 specifications and include a minimum 75-year material warranty. The supplier must also furnish V-shaped ridge and hipped ridge tiles, closure pieces at roof top, eave, and rake locations, and graduated tiles for the conical roof section. The Eagleview roof takeoff report is attached as the basis for quantification.

The procurement is for material only; fabrication and installation are separate. DNR is requesting a lump-sum price for all clay tiles and accessories combined. The DNR anticipates a long lead time and is purchasing material in advance to support the April 2027 construction start.

Punderson State Park Lodge is located at 11755 Kinsman Road in Newbury Township, Gallia County, Ohio.
