About this opportunity

Fulton County Schools (FCS) in Atlanta, Georgia, is issuing a Request for Qualification (RFQu) to establish a pre-approved vendor pool for professional and consulting services supporting the Strategy and Technology Division on an as-needed, requirements contract basis. The solicitation seeks qualified firms across seven primary service categories: Microsoft technologies (Identity Management, Office 365, Intune, Azure, SCCM, Group Policy, SQL, SharePoint, and Business Intelligence); VMware services (virtualization platforms, NSX/software-defined networking, and AirWatch); Network services (process improvements, systems integrations, Active Directory, and network configuration); Security services (cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, penetration testing, and incident response); Applications support (software imaging, service desk, workflow creation, device management, OnBase, and Nintex); Data Warehouse and AI services (data architecture, governance, analytics, machine learning, and AI infrastructure); and Project Management and Business Analysis across enterprise applications, network infrastructure, IT security, instructional technology, data warehouse, and hardware deployment. Additionally, FCS seeks contractor staff augmentation and consulting services in technology support, infrastructure management, hardware support, IT security, business intelligence, instructional applications, Canvas LMS support, instructional design, and digital media. Vendor proposals will be evaluated on 1,000 total points, with 800 points allocated to capabilities and methodology, 100 points for business stability, and 100 points for exceptions and modifications. A pre-submittal video conference is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, April 23, 2026, via Microsoft Teams, with questions due by 4:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, and digital proposal submissions required via Euna Procurement (Bonfire) by 2:30 p.m. EST on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The contract will include a base performance period with four optional one-year renewal periods, with all pricing remaining firm throughout the contract term.

There are no set-aside designations or restrictions limiting organizational eligibility specified in the solicitation documents. All responding firms must comply with Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance requirements, provide notarized immigration and security compliance documentation, submit criminal background checks for all assigned employees, and maintain comprehensive insurance coverage including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, automobile liability, umbrella liability, professional liability, and cyber liability. FCS intends to award and qualify multiple vendors for the approved vendor list, though placement does not guarantee selection for any specific project; the contract is a requirements contract with no guaranteed minimum purchase volume and carries no incumbent contractor restrictions. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the solicitation documents. FCS reserves the right to accept or reject any submissions, to deem proposals nonresponsive based on substantive modifications, and to terminate the contract for convenience with 30 days' written notice, with award notification to be posted on the FCS Contracting website and Bonfire platform following selection and Fulton County Board of Education approval.
