About this opportunity
Greenville County, South Carolina is soliciting bids for Invitation for Bid (IFB) #22007 to procure printing and distribution of anti-drug calendars for middle schools in Greenville and Pickens Counties. The project involves producing 22,250 calendars featuring artwork from thirteen winning middle school students (grades 6-8) who participated in an anti-drug art competition. The calendars will be 8.5 x 11 inches, spiral bound with a hole punch, utilizing 4 x 4 gloss varnish finish on 100# cover glass enamel with 80# gloss text pages, comprising 28 pages plus a 4-page cover. Electronic bid responses are due by 3:30 PM EDT on October 1, 2021, through the county's online procurement portal, with final calendar delivery required by December 15, 2021. Bid evaluation criteria will include responsiveness to the IFB, cost, vendor experience with similar projects, and provided references. Final artwork photographs will be provided to the selected vendor during the week of October 18th. Vendors must submit a comprehensive Statement of Qualifications detailing company background, organizational structure, qualifications, experiences, and at least three references.
No specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor types were explicitly mentioned in the procurement documents. The county appears to have a preference for references from South Carolina governmental entities, but this does not constitute a formal limitation on bidder eligibility. No incumbent vendor information was provided, and no specific budget range or award value was disclosed in the available documentation. The procurement does not require a bid bond, performance bond, or payment bond. While the solicitation is open to various vendors, the county will likely prioritize vendors with proven experience in calendar production, especially those with a track record of working with educational institutions or government agencies. The total project volume is 22,250 calendars to be distributed across 27 different schools and locations in Greenville and Pickens Counties.
