The procurement seeks a contractor to provide regular pest treatments, termite treatments, herbicide/insecticide applications, fire ant treatments, and as-needed services targeting crawling and flying pests such as rodents, spiders, roaches, ants, flies, wasps, and hornets. Qualified bidders must be licensed in Florida and prepared to undergo criminal background checks for service personnel. Evaluation criteria will assess proposals based on pricing (40 points), availability and response time (30 points), and company references and credentials (30 points). Electronic bid responses are due by 10:00 am on Monday, January 27, 2025, through the county's e-Procurement Portal, with questions accepted until 12:00 pm on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Contractors must provide comprehensive insurance documentation, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and business auto liability coverage, with Santa Rosa County named as an additional insured. While specific contract value is not disclosed, the solicitation suggests the potential for multiple vendor awards and comprehensive service coverage across numerous county facilities. The county reserves the right to waive bid irregularities, reject any or all bids for documented reasons, and award contracts to vendors determined to be in the best interest of Santa Rosa County. Prospective contractors must comply with state statutes, use approved products, and maintain safety standards consistent with manufacturer guidelines and regulatory requirements.
