The equipment scope includes one Trimble R980 Model 50 GPS receiver configured for base and rover mode, one TSC510 controller with QWERTY keypad and worldwide region capability, Li-Ion battery pack, 65-watt charger, rover pole, protective case, and Ranger Premium Hardware Kit. The system must integrate a wideband UHF radio with minimum 2-watt transmission capability and achieve RTK surveying accuracy of 8 millimeters horizontal and 15 millimeters vertical. Equipment must be new, unused, and free from defects. Trimble Access General Software with perpetual licensing and three to four years of technical support and software update coverage are required. Vendors must provide minimum one-year manufacturer's full coverage warranty. Products must be compatible with existing Trimble equipment and software in use by the agency. Vendors may propose equivalent products if they demonstrate equivalency; minor design or feature differences that do not affect suitability will not result in rejection.

Seiler is the authorized Trimble reseller for Illinois counties within ILDOT Districts 5 through 9 and specified counties in District 4, per Trimble Navigation Limited's February 23, 2021 reseller designation letter.

Illinois Standard Terms and Conditions (Version 23.2) apply, including a $15 minority contractor initiative fee for contracts of $1,000 or more, prevailing wage compliance for applicable service categories, $1,000,000 general commercial liability insurance per occurrence, three-year record retention (five years if federal funds involved), and termination for convenience with 30 days' written notice or immediately for cause.
